Status of this policy
This is a draft privacy notice for the EvidenceFact website at EvidenceFact.com. EvidenceFact is the public brand. Confidential Case Files LLC, a Texas limited liability company, operates this website. The notice is not in effect. Counsel has not adopted it.
Still required before adoption: a registered address, governing law, a retention period, the names of any hosting, database, and email providers, and an effective date. None of those are stated here.
It describes this website only. It does not describe the EvidenceFact product, which is being developed separately and is not operated through these pages.
Information this website collects
If you submit the private beta form, the site asks for your name, work email, law firm or organization, role, the kind of document-review challenge you have, and optional comments. If you submit the contact form, it asks for your name, work email, organization, a topic, and a message.
The site also asks you to confirm that the form does not create a product account and that you will not include confidential matter information.
The hosting environment may record ordinary connection data, such as IP address and user agent, in its own logs. This application does not add that connection data to the intake record.
Information this website is not meant to receive
Do not send evidence, claim files, medical information, government identifiers, account numbers, or facts about a live matter. The forms are screened for some identifier patterns and will reject a submission that matches them. That screening is a safeguard, not a guarantee.
There is no file upload on this website.
How information is used
Inquiry details are used to review a request for private beta access, to respond to a question, and to protect the site from abuse. They are not used to create a product account and they are not placed in a customer evidence system. A website visit or beta request does not make the visitor a client of Confidential Case Files LLC for any other service.
The draft commitment is that inquiry information is not sold.
Where a request is stored
A valid inquiry is stored in a private intake database for this website. The record contains a unique reference, the time it was received, and the form fields. It does not include the visitor IP address, and it is not written to a product database.
A short notice is prepared for admin@evidencefact.com. The notice contains the reference, time, name, email, organization, and role or topic. It does not include the free-text challenge, comments, or message. Email delivery of that notice stays off until the operator turns it on. Until then, the notice is kept with the stored application. The confirmation screen says whether the application was recorded and whether the notice was sent, held, or waiting to be retried. An application is not confirmed on screen unless the database accepted it.
The local preview keeps that database in a private file on the server running the preview. A production deployment does not accept applications into that file. Production requires the owner-approved database described in the project README.
Retention
The draft intention is to keep an inquiry only long enough to evaluate it, respond, and meet ordinary operational needs, and to delete it when the requester asks. A specific retention schedule is pending the operator and counsel.
Requests for access, correction, or deletion
Privacy requests can be sent to admin@evidencefact.com or through the contact form with the topic “Privacy request.” Do not include confidential matter facts.
Children
This website is directed to professional organizations. It is not directed to children, and the forms are not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
This draft is dated 8 October 2026. A later version will replace it after counsel review and owner approval. The adopted notice should show its effective date.
